Printers, scanners and fax machines

The Energy Efficiency Laboratory offers testing and consultancy according to Energy Star requirements in connection with printers, scanners and fax machines.

Energy Star is an American voluntary labeling programme designed to identify and promote energy-efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Currently, there are no ecodesign and energy labelling requirements for these types of products.

Accredited testing facilities

The Energy Efficiency Laboratory is accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 standards by DANAK, the Danish Accreditation and Metrology Fund, (see www.danak.dk registration no 300 for detail specifications).

Moreover, the laboratory is accredited by Energy Star to carry out testing according to specified Energy Star requirements.

We offer consultancy and various types of testing including:

  • Testing according to Energy Star requirements
  • Testing of energy and power consumption
  • Consultancy on CE marking
