Test and documentation of a service ceiling for Citea
The Danish company Citea ApS makes clean rooms for e.g. laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry. Here, they have seen increased demand for documentation of their solutions. For a construction project, they needed an impartial third party to document that their product meets the requirements - therefore they contacted the Danish Technological Institute.
The Danish Technological Institute helped Citea develop a test plan based on the requirements that are set forth in e.g. the Machinery Directive. This resulted in a test set-up that the Danish Technological Institute's testing specialists set up at Citea - in this case of a service ceiling.
It is a stamp of approaval in itself that you can say - and document - that you have had something tested by the Danish Technological Institute
- Henrik Østergaard, Citea ApS
The test was successful, and now Citea has unbiased third-party documentation that their product meets the requirements. In the video above, testing specialist, Otto Hejgaard, talks about how the test was made.
