Our versatile pilot plant is a room of opportunities. Scaling, challenge testing, product development, customer sample preparation, test of cleanability, showcasing – the possibilities are numerous.
Scaling
New and exciting ingredients derived from plants, insects, microalgae, fermentation processes etc. are popping up like mushrooms these days. Innovative ideas for diversifying our food supply to meet the climate-related challenges we are facing are numerous and creative. But often there is a large gap between the fantastic idea and the actual product being ready for large-scale production and this gap is unfortunately causing a lot of good ideas to fall flat, even before they get wings.
Large-scale food manufacturers on the other hand may find themselves in a situation where they want to innovate and try new things out but are restricted by having to run very big batches due to the size of their production apparatus.
We want to help these ideas get wings, so we as a society can progress towards a more sustainable food supply now and in the future. With our pilot facilities, we can offer equipment and expertise in just the right scale, whether you are scaling up or scaling down.
