ATEX and materials testing - Benefit from our expert knowledge

The Danish Technological Institute performs the tests required in relation to the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, as well as the tests that are relevant to an “Explosion protection document” - e.g. determining the parameters for the 'dust' that may give rise to an explosive atmosphere in production.

Below you will find a selection of the tests offered by Certification & Inspection:

• Implementation of relevant tests according to the ATEX standards
• ESD test or antistatic test of plastic materials according to the ATEX requirements
• Surface resistance on floors according to EN 61340-4-1 
• UV test on plastic materials
• Climatic test according to the ATEX standards, including. IP testing
• Analysis of dust samples for i.e. Kst, Pmax, LEL, LOC
