3. Product Application

Product Application focuses on how mealworms can be applied in feed and food products. An assessment and documentation of the nutritional and health value will be made using state-of-the-art animal models. The functional food properties of insect-meal will be determined by food experts. Finally, through the focus on consumer acceptance, the project aims at influencing the market and public perception of insects as food.
