CLEANSHIP - Data Value Creation, Recommendations, and Best Practices

Measurement equipment from the Danish Technological Institute and Green Instruments will be installed on the test ships. This creates a close connection between operation, surrounding conditions, engine, and emissions. The combination of emissions data, information on the ship's operational data, performance, and weather conditions provides valuable insight into, for example, black carbon reduction potential when using different biofuels combined with various Energy Saving Devices (ESDs).

The results and experiences from the demonstration campaigns will be used to create data models and recommendations on potential data-driven value creation. The reduction potentials of the tested technologies will result in best practice recommendations for the shipping industry and regulators.
