Strategisk PFAS-workshop
Strategic PFAS workshop. Invitation to strategic PFAS workshop on 3 February: Challenges, needs and solutions in Danish companies. Note when registering if you prefer to speak English
Is your business facing PFAS challenges?
From packaging, transport and construction to medical devices, semiconductors, functional textiles and more, PFAS have found their way into many industries over the decades, but have proven to be a growing environmental and health challenge. That's why the EU is working to ban the majority of PFAS.
To tackle the PFAS challenge, the 'Agreement on a National Action Plan for PFAS' allocates funds for partnerships with industry to minimise PFAS releases and support faster phase-out and replacement of PFAS in the industry. We need your company to provide input on the content and direction of this initiative. The initiative will run from 2025 - 2027.
Strategic PFAS Workshop: Finding solutions together
The purpose of the day is to bring together key players across industries and sectors to identify specific initiatives and issues that can be addressed in the upcoming PFAS partnerships. We do this by addressing some of the questions that many companies are currently facing alone:
- Strategic PFAS substitution: How do we best approach substitution?
- Environmentally responsible handling: How can we minimise emissions to the environment and materials where substitution is not possible?
- Circular economy: How do we ensure that the circular material cycles of the future are PFAS-free?
- Risk assessment frameworks: How do we avoid short-term and ineffective solutions?
- Impact assessments: How do we assess the benefits and consequences of PFAS interventions, including substitution?
- Effective supply chain communication: How do we ensure better dialogue with suppliers when phasing out PFAS in the supply chain?
Target audience and language
The workshop is aimed at employees with overall responsibility for PFAS in Danish companies. The workshop is generally held in Danish, but English-language working groups can be set up on the day as needed.
What is the benefit to your business?
By attending this workshop, your organisation will have the opportunity to:
- Influence the direction of future PFAS partnerships with industry to make it relevant to your needs and challenges.
- Stay ahead of upcoming regulatory requirements and potential PFAS challenges
- Network and liaise with other companies facing the same challenges.
Spaces are limited, so register today to ensure your participation!
